MOJO LOCO!!! originated when the highly successful Unity the Band, Wisconsin's premier reggae ensemble, disbanded after the untimely passing of their leader, Pita Kotobalavu. The remaining members, determined to keep alive the group's commitment to energetic live music, re-worked the group's repertoire and sound, forming a new entity, MOJO LOCO!!!, and the results have been nothing less than stellar. In addition to many of the Island beats audiences have come to love, MJLC expands their range to include rock, funk, disco, and more. The band's primary objective is to keep crowds on their feet all night long, while offering an endless parade of musical surprises. Serving a buffet of favorite songs that folks will love to sing along with, MJLC also presents entertaining medleys, witty mash-ups, and novel re-imaginings of classics that always get a fervent response.
